The Great American Eclipse - University of Arkansas, 4.8.2024
After almost 3 months of preparation, research, and testing, the outcome could not have been better! Thank you to the University of Arkansas University Relations Team for trusting me with this project - it was certainly a bucket list item for any photographer.
This composite timelapse was shot using a variety of gear, including a Canon EOS R5 Mk II + 24-105mm and a Nikon D3500 + Vortex Optics Diamondback HD 16-48X65 spotting scope with a digi-scoping adapter. The background panorama was captured the week prior during a sunrise, using 9 vertical images blended together using Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop. Each stage of the eclipse, up to about 96% totality was captured over a two and a half hour period from the 2nd story balcony of the Student Success Center.
